QUALITY INSIDE AND OUT
THE PROCESS
The manufacturing process starts with the selection of top quality tulip wood from which a sturdy frame is constructed. The upholsterer then uses individual steel springs and natural webbing for lifetime comfort and strength. All springs are covered with foam of various densities, Dacron and eventually the fabric. All the work is carried out under the supervision of the Master Upholsterer.
The sofas are then fitted with loose covers; the furniture is upholstered in thick calico, inspected and subsequently sent to the seamstresses and cushion makers. Here, the experienced team (some with over 30 years’ experience at the factory) patiently sew a sofa cover that fits perfectly. The base cushions are constructed using a sandwich of foams of different densities, while the back cushions are densely stuffed with treated goose feather and down plumage so as to give maximum comfort and avoid back pain.
QUALITY CHECK
After the entire sofa is completed, it is meticulously inspected and tagged to ensure that the finished product reflects the international standards of camilleriparismode.
