Inspiration for the Spanish fabric editor, Lizzo’s new collection came from a diverse range of sources, countries and even centuries. This collection was presented by Celine to camilleriparismode’s guests at an event held recently as part of Malta Design Week.
Celine gave a brief overview of this collection which reflects a whole spectrum of styles. From the MAHARAJAs of India, we find exotic and richly embellished fabric for the ultimate in luxury. The colourful PAISLEY collection draws inspiration from Kashmir and the Anglo Saxon culture of the 18th & 19th centuries.
The BAUHAUS collection reflects the German architectural movement of the 1920s and 30s with a particular focus on industrial graphic design, where form followed function. This collection is urban and cosmopolitan.
In total contrast to this is the BOTANICAL collection, inspired by the ancient gardens from the Renaissance. The FOREST collection of sheers follows the botanical concept and reflects the texture of leaves and rugged bark in earthly autumnal colours.
The SCOTLAND collection is perfect for both contemporary furniture as well as vintage pieces.
