Schott Zwiesel

The German company, SCOTT ZWEISEL has created a new type of crystal glass by individually tempering each of the three zones, the rim, the junction of the bowl and the stem and the junction of the foot and stem.

This durable crystal is the new titanium-based series, built after over 130 years of innovation and excellence. This patented process replaces lead oxide with titanium oxide resulting in brighter crystal which has the right sense of weight and balance to convey quality.

This also makes this glassware suitable for dishwasher use, practically scratch-proof and resilient to accidental breakages making it the preferred choice for hotel, restaurant and bar professionals. This glassware enjoys a breakage rate which is up to 40% lower than traditional crystal glass.

One such example is the SCHOTT ZWIESEL classic look Forte Series wine glasses in resistant Tritan® Lead-Free Crystal. These glasses have the look and feel of the most delicate crystal but it is resilient and does not cloud after constant dishwasher use. Beautiful mouth blown crystal decanters complement the Tritan stemware.
